The Festive Stage in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebration continued to be enliven with various performances, 2nd August night.

In the capital, the 3rd Season of Brunei Muara District Secondary Schools Level Bermukun Contest organised by the Kampung Jerudong 'B' Consultative Council and 'Warisan Kedayan Jerudong' Association. Present were Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Haji Mohammed; Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Md Salleh bin Haji Othman; abd Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad bin Abdullah @ Lim Swee Ann, Members of the Legislative Council.

A pentarama performance enlivened the festive stage at Tamu Tudong Saji in Kuala Belait. The performance was organised by the Information Department, Prime Minister's Office through the Strategic Communications Section of Nationhood Unit, Publications and Strategic Communications Division in collaboration with Belait District Information Branch. Present was Awang Haji Hairul Mohd Daud bin Haji Abdul Karim, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications.

The festive stage in Tutong District showcased the Battle of the Band “Gegar Rentak Enam" organised by Kampung Tanjong Maya.  Present was Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council; and Awang Haji Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer.

Malam Bermukun organised by the Temburong Senior Citizens Activity Centre enlivened the festive stage in Temburong District. Present was Pengiran Haji Asran bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Acting Director of the National Service Programme, Bato Apoi, Temburong. Also present were Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council; and Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer.
